It was such a pleasure to photograph this year’s Bike the Barns event, put on by the wonderful people at Fair Share CSA Coalition! Such a lovely way to spend a day: biking through the rolling hills of Wisconsin, visiting local farms, and sampling some incredible, locally sourced food. Though a little cloudy to start the day, the temperature was perfect for a day’s ride through the countryside just outside of Madison, WI. At each stop, riders were treated to a farm tour, live music, and delicious food prepared by some fabulous area restaurants, to keep riders nourished and happy all day long. Music filled the air, and smiles were abound. Friendly volunteers were at the ready to guide riders and assist along the way. It is truly a special event in this corner of the world and I am thrilled to have been a part of it! I hope you enjoy this pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
