Holy cow- it’s a new year! Hope your year is off to a good start. I am so thankful for all the support in 2014 and I’m pretty excited for things to come in this year. I’ve got some new things brewing that I think will really help this year and I’m so looking forward to photo shoots to come!   For now, it’s all about looking at my existing set up and taking in this quiet time to enjoy life around me and sharpen my skills (aka. play with the camera) for later :).

Someone once asked what I do in winter, and while winter is a slower time, it can actually be fun to get outside for pictures, or make the best of a big sunny window in the house. I had some fun playing around with this little sweetie that is near and dear to my heart. A soft winter sky actually provides some beautiful light for pictures. Having sweet chubby baby cheeks are good for pictures too!

I hope this year is filled with wonderful memories and beautiful things. For now, enjoy some sweet baby smiles! Take care out there 🙂
