May ’20 Latest & Greatest

We are living in extraordinary times, aren’t we? It’s been a slow time, and lots of home time and thankfully, my family has been healthy. My heart goes out to those who have suffered loss and those on the front lines of this virus. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our everyday heroes.

Many spring events and sessions were cancelled as those who could, stayed safer at home and we all began to learn what we are up against. But as the weather warms, and restrictions ease, I have been able to get out just a bit more and help families record this crazy time, safely from a distance. The nice thing about photography is that I have to stay a certain distance away, safely behind my camera, and I prefer to be outside anyway, so the new easing of restrictions is easy to honor.

The good news in all of this is that the world still turns, nature still does its thing, babies are still being born, and there are still students graduating, (though the process looks a little different). I am happy to get back out there to help families record these special moments that continue to happen, even if they look a little different than they used to.  I look forward with hope for the future.

Thank goodness for nicer weather outdoors. Thank goodness for everyday heroes and kindness. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy as we continue to navigate this together. ❤
